About A La Cart Projects

The story behind the scissors and glue

Bright craft workspace with colorful supplies organized on pegboard wall

Hi, We Are Glad You Are Here

A La Cart Projects started as a personal blog in 2019 when our founder, a graphic designer by trade, wanted a place to document weekend craft experiments. What began as a way to remember which glue worked on which surface turned into a resource used by thousands of makers looking for straightforward project guides.

Our Philosophy

We believe crafting should be approachable. You should not need a dedicated studio, an expensive Cricut, or a perfectly curated Instagram feed to enjoy making things. A kitchen table, a few basic tools, and a free afternoon are enough.

Every project we publish meets three criteria:

What We Cover

Paper crafts, simple woodworking, fiber arts, upcycling, resin work, candle making, and seasonal projects. We rotate themes monthly and occasionally collaborate with Etsy sellers to break down how they produce their bestselling items.

Selling on Etsy?

Several of our project tutorials include notes about production scaling and pricing. If a project works well as a one-off gift, we will tell you. If it has real potential as an Etsy product, we will walk through materials cost, time per unit, and listing strategy.
